BIG NEWS: Google strikes back (new blog post)

Not to spoil your weekend, but...

I'm not sure if you caught this BIG
announcement yesterday (February 24th).

In Google's own words...

"in the last day or so we launched a pretty big
algorithmic improvement to our ranking -- a change
that noticeably impacts 11.8% of our queries"

Here's a few more comments from big G:

"This update is designed to reduce rankings for
low-quality sites -- sites which are low-value add
for users, copy content from other websites or
sites that are just not very useful"

This is BAD news for anyone creating "push-button"
websites and blogs that merely swipe articles and/or
videos from directories.

For me, this latest G update had the *reverse* effect.

Seriously.

While some people watched their sites sink faster
than Mel Gibson's popularity...

Many of my blogs got a sudden *spike* in traffic and
rankings.

Why?

Well, I've been taking a "hybrid" approach to
building blogs, getting content and free traffic.

After this latest Google update, it seems this
approach keeps Google happy too. :-)

Speaking about "hybrid" traffic...

After watching my sites thrive after this
latest G update, I decided to put something
together for you.

I am compiling my notepad scribbles into a document
that details the same "hybrid" traffic blueprint
that I use.

It works great.

Give me a few more days to finish the report and
I'll email you the download link, k?

The cool thing is... once you start taking a
*hybrid* approach to getting free traffic, you'll
become immune to Google slaps, updates or
sudden changes.

That means... no more worrying about what
*might* happen to your sites and traffic.

Wouldn't that be awesome?

I'll show you how to do it soon.

P.S. - In the meantime, if you want to take a
look at the official Google blog post that I
referenced earlier, here it is:

Have a great weekend!
