The Jets' wide receiver Braylon Edwards of New York was arrested early Tuesday morning while driving his car while he was intoxicated.
Initially, Braylon Edwards was prosecuted by the police in Manhattan because of tinted windows too. That's when officials realized he smelled of alcohol content. After verification, the rate of blood alcohol was .08.
"We are very disappointed with the behavior of Braylon," said the Jets staff. "The NFL has a program to prevent this kind of situation and Braylon knew. He has demonstrated a misjudgment. "
"We will impose the necessary disciplinary action after discussion with the league. "
Braylon Edwards caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Jets the Patriots of New England.
